I feel very lucky to be self-employed. It means I can fit my hours around the other important things in my life. I also have a bakery business which also takes up my time so it's great that I can be flexible.
My day typically starts with the other love of my life: my dogs. I usually get up to feed them and have a much needed cuppa (although I have only fairly recently discovered tea - I'm not sure how I coped with life pre-caffeine!)
After the compulsory cuppa, I have breakfast followed by a dog walk. My husband and I have 6 dogs, 12 chickens and a tortoise between us so that takes up a fair amount of time (although to be fair the tortoise doesn't need much walking). After a dog walk l I will typically do a cross fit session and then I start teaching. I offer very flexible lesson times as I know different people will have different time constraints. If I've got a baking job on, I will also be fitting this around my day too - Christmas was an especially busy time!
